This is a call to those with passion and courage who are seeking a vision for their life. To those willing to look deep within the pool of reflection and see themselves as they truly are, both light and dark. To those who feel they have a mission in this life but may not know fully what that is or have the words to express it, but the feeling still remains. To those that feel a call for initiation and a right of passage so they can step full into their true essence and their medicine. To those seeking a vision of their souls dream and how to walk that upon the Earth.

Vision quest is a time honoured ceremony in many traditions both Native American and Ancient Celtic. A time where we go deep within ourselves and present ourselves to Great Spirit to see if we can be blessed with a vision for our lives, a way forward with our challenges and a celebration of our jewels and medicine. We will gather on this day as a community questing a vision in circle. To share our experiences and questions and see what is reflected back to us from our brothers and sisters, and all the worlds of the Grandmother: Mineral, Plant, Animal and Ancestor. To take this into a sweat lodge where we may indeed be blessed with a vision and to share those jewels with each other afterwards in way of anchoring that vision to take back into our daily lives.

This is a day that can be engaged upon as a standalone ceremony but also is in preparation for going out on personal vision quest in the coming spring. So as we quest a vision together on the day we will also be sharing ways to prepare through the winter dreaming for those feeling called to going out on personal vision quest. It will be an opportunity both to get an understanding of what vision quest is and how to prepare by collectively questing a vision in circle, around a sacred altar and within the womb of the Grandmother, the Sweat lodge.

The workshop space will be held by John Horan, Brendan Lynch and Eamonn Doyle John Horan, Warrior of the Golden Heart, is a Journeyer of the MorningStar lodge having completed a 12 year apprenticeship with Arwyn Dreamwalker. These teachings of the Beauty Way (Hozho) as held by the Navajo (Dineh) Medicine Man Grandfather Tom Wilson, have brought deep healing and blessing to his life in ways beyond measure.

Arwyn DreamWalker is a teacher and healer of the Medicine Traditions of Turtle Island (North and South America). She has travelled to Britain and Europe for 30 years bringing an impeccable standard of ceremony and teachings, and a vision of life that holds at its heart a deep devotion to the sacred.
